Olga Cardona-Hernandez was identified as the woman who was found dead at her Deer Park residence on the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Suffolk County Police Department reported.
Officers responded to a report of a dispute at 24 West 23rd St. shortly after 7 a.m., police said.
Police reported that they also located Cardona-Hernandez's son, 33-year-old Gabriel Cabral-Cardona, of Brooklyn, standing on the side of the home "covered in blood."
He was arrested at the scene and taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries that were sustained during the incident, SCPD said.
Police said Cabral-Cardona was charged with second-degree murder.
